GroundUp opens in Eastern Cape
We are pleased to announce that GroundUp has opened an Eastern Cape office in East London. This is our first office outside Cape Town.
The office will be headed by Nombulelo Damba-Hendriks, formerly of our Cape Town office.
We will focus on social justice issues in one of South Africa’s poorest provinces and we welcome contributions from freelance reporters and photographers.
Our first story by our new office is: Buffalo City janitors have to pay for their own toilet cleaning materials.
